Hal has recorded and/or performed with Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Gary US Bonds, Southside Johnny, Bobby Bandiera, Lisa Bouchelle (Universal recording artist), Spencer Davis, Mitch Ryder, Dicky Betts, Jason Bonham, Linda Perry, Richie LaBamba and Mark Pender (Conan O'Brien Show Band), Stuttering John, Tommy Stewart (Godsmack), Joe Piscopo, Andy Kim, Ben E. King, The Shangri-Las, Sonny Geraci ("Precious & Few"), The Coasters, Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister), Robert Mason (Warrant), Phoebe Snow, Max Weinberg, Shawn Pelton, Ray Anderson (Meat Loaf), Alan St. John and Bobby Chouinard (Billy Squier), Richie Ranno (Starz), Doyle Grisham (Jimmy Buffett Band), and many others. He is a member of Jimmy & The Parrots, a nationally known touring and recording Island Music/Reggae/Buffett style band. He was a member of Luxx, a nationally known rock band that toured with Godsmack. He performs periodically in the hit Broadway show "Rock of Ages."His tours have taken him to Europe, Moscow, Japan, South Korea, the Carribean, and all over the US. He plays 4 and 5-string bass, and has had endorsements with Fender, Ibanez, and Hartke.Hal also contributes music columns to national and international publications such as The Aquarian, The East Coast Rocker, Powerplay Magazine (UK), and Modern Drummer.
