I moved from southern California to Portland, Oregon when I was ten. We lived in Laurelhurst. We moved to a really cold house in Aurora right on the Willamette for a year before buying the farm in Oregon City. I went to Canby schools, and graduated from Canby Union High in 1982. Went to Reed College, spent a year in France. Went to University of Oregon, spent another year in France. Had only a few important, long-term relationships before meeting Caddie. Ended up in her neck of the woods, here in New Hampshire.I've been a French teacher, a typesetter, and now am assistant director of communications at a small graduate school. You know, some people have a way with words, and other people... I don't know, "not have way" I guess.
