Love is patient, Love is kind, . . .Love never fails

About Me

Well, I really don't know what to say. I am a 32 year old proud parent of one. I am happily married to the love of my life who is also my best friend. I love to read, I'm a hopeless romantic. I usually read the end of the book first, if it doesn't end with happily ever after, then why waste my time. I also love children, so I really enjoy my time as a Children's' minister, camp leader, or any other activity that allows me to tell kids how much Jesus loves them. Mostly I like to hang out with friends and family. I love to cook, bake really, all that fattening stuff, cookies, candies, etc. I love history, I've done a little research on my geneology. Now that's some fascinating stuff. I also love to travel. I must admit, roadtrips can be a lot of fun. I hate to shop, but I love to get suprises. There are a few sports that I follow-football ( go panthers!) NASCAR (Go #20, )and baseball (Go Braves!)I edited my profile at Free Christian Layouts , check out these Christian Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

Children's Ministry, reading, art, cooking

I'd like to meet:

Well, I would really like to see Jesus! I know it sounds silly, but we've met several celebs, and you know what, they are just like you and me- only they get way more attention. I'd really love to meet up with some of our founding fathers, men and women of the Bible, my ancestors. Hey, I have a lot of questions for them!

Music:

Usually anything Christian. I try to listen to a lot of different styles. Mercyme to Tobymac Kirk Franklin to our southern gospel roots. I must admit, I really do love Newsong & 4Him.

Movies:

Well, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves because that was our very first date. It shows that good can triumph over evil.

Television:

Mainly the food network, old shows from the 80's ( A-Team, Simon&Simon, The Waltons, etc.) anything on the Hallmark Channel

Books:

I love Christian fiction. Usually romance, my favorite authors are Lori Wick & Janet Oke. Both have series that are set in the 1800s in the pioneer days. Did you know that they used skunk oil as a homade remedy?

Heroes:

All of those who have helped be to become who I am today. My mom & dad, my little sister Kim ( who still thinks she is bigger than me) my 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Cowan, my husband Roy, my daughter, and all my friends who constantly show love. Last but not least, Jesus Christ- I want to be just like him!
