My Grandbabies
Old high school friends, children all grown up that I babysat during my 11 years as a daycare provider, Girls from my Girl Scout Troop 291, also all grown up.
New Country
I currently have three heroes with a third on his way. My heroes are my three daughters. Nichole who is a very stong woman and the mother of five of my grandbabies. Nichole held her family together when her husband Robbie was active in the National guard and worked for 9 months at the airport protecting our country after 911, and then again when he was sent to Oklahoma to cover for the men and women who were fighting in Iraq, and once again when he was sent to Japan for a couple of weeks to help train others. Nichole who was never having children is about as strong a mother as there ever was or will be. Another hero of mine is my daughter Ashley, Ashley the mother of three is a very stong willed (and stong headed I might add)and independent woman. If Ashley wants something she gets it by hard work and determination. Ashley is an excellent mother who is in sync with her three small children. She has always worked very hard to support and care for her family, most of the time she was the sole supporter of the family. My other hero is Kylee', Kylee' is the definition of a caring heart, Kylee' has been employed as a peer mentor with Synergy services for almost four years now, Synergy is a service provided for troubled teens. Kylee' has received local and National recognition for her caring and giving to others. For more than a year she also volunteered for MOSCA a rape crisis hotline. On top of all this she is a full time college student trying to earn her degree in Child Psychology or Pediatrics with a minor in CSI. I like to think my heroes get their best qualities from me, but am afraid I can't take the credit, they are their own individuals and have each earned their own place in this world, I am only their biggest fan and their support system.
