We are a band of brothers with one thing in common: Our love for music. We are friends first, and a band second. Forming, and reforming from the break-up of many bands, (Including Desperate Conversation, Counterfall and As Darkness Fades) Seizing Perfection is back for the Summer of 2008, and is ready to make its mark on the local music scene. While their music is not similar to that of most of the local music scene, that does not stop them. Benjamin, Patrick, Arthur and Andrew pride themselves on being the only 4 members of Seizing Perfection in all of the band's history. They take a different approach to music than most bands. Each member of the band is the master of their instrument, and has the final say in the parts written in each song. While this may not bring about the catchiest of music, it allows each members' strengths in music to shine through. Seizing Perfection is what happens when 4 brothers with their own personal taste in music, (including a good 'ol boy from Trinity, a master metalhead of the 6-string, and 2 brothers who have made their journey through music, as well as Christ together) come together to bring their music to the masses.
While they may not label themselves as a christian band, the holy spirit is absolutely present in the band. However, Seizing Perfection prefers not to proclaim themselves as a Christian band. Each member is on their own level spiritually, and we do not wish to be just another "Christian" band that are Christians onstage and nowhere. Instead, they let their passion for God show through in their energetic stage performances.
