I like Photography, drawing, Origami, crocheting, playing poker online, traveling, being with family, playing Halo with my boys (as in my offspring, not homies) and reading. I love the sun, not for tanning, just the feel of it on my skin. I love my children more than life. I love the ocean. I love heights. I put the AC on really cold so I can drink hot chocolate in the summer (my father says this is the epitomy of being American). I hate cooking. I hate, hate, hate mucus...I could be knee deep in bile, blood, excrement, but snot makes me hurl. I hate fake people with no sense of loyalty. I hate Lifetime television. I hate being far away from those I love.
I like a wide range of music. Love Tori Amos because she's brilliant. I love covers because I like to hear people rip off other people's songs...mwahahah. Really, I have this CD of Joan Osbourne (thanks Julie-the Queen of Covers) where she does a bunch of Motown and its one of my favorites. At the far end of my spectrum I enjoy a little Clutch now and again just because the singer's voice is awesome (yeah, that's about as hard as I get)...
Movies...this is hard. Here are some of my favorites not in any particular order:True Romance (Gary Oldman "is it white boy day" and Christian Slater are beautiful), Bram Stoker's Dracula (again Gary Oldman brilliant), Interview with the Vampire (anything with Vampires really), The Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon ( Ralph Fiennes, the sexiest serial killer ever), Signs, Sixth Sense, Fallen, The Hours, Personal Velocity, The House of Yes, The Shawshank Redemption,I'll add more later....
I wish I was one of those people who could say 'I don't watch T.V.' but I think T.V. is great... I like CSI, CSI Miami, Law and Order SVU, Forensic Files, Court TV, Discovery Health (anything with surgery or oddities), Any Documentary, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (that's right, I'm out of the closet), Animal Planet's Most Extreme, Venom ER (I watch those with Brodie)...Medical Mysteries....
Top ten favorite books are: The Stand - Stephen King, A Cry to Heaven - Anne Rice, Pandora - Anne Rice, Gerald's Game - Stephen King, The Witching Hour - Anne Rice, The Grapes of Wrath - John Steinbeck, Memnoch The Devil - Anne Rice, Books of Blood v.1 (my favorite is The Yattering and Jack) - Clive Barker, The Dead Zone - Stephen King, Reefer Madness: sex, drugs, and cheap labor in the American black market - Eric Schlosser.
Anyone who is truthfull no matter the consequence.
