**INTRO**
Sounds of Saviour is a 5 piece band. We play mostly metalcore, deathcore,thrash metal n abit of death metal.The band was form in the early 2003.We started with a 4 piece band playing any kind of genre,so to find the type of genre we are comfortable with and to also build our coordination and stuff like that.yea.this is what we call "start from scratch".
**THE EARLY STAGE**2004-2005
In year 2004 and 2005,there's not much event happening for us except teachers day which was a great start for us to build our confident in performing live.Way back then,we were only a 4 piece band.Many people told us that our music is good live but we had some vocal problems.So instead of finding a new vocalist,we decided to practice harder.And there were at some point which some of us decided to quit the band but it didnt happened.And in 2005,we perform our first gig at BEAT MERCHANT.which started off nicely n ended badly with some equipment problem and the same probs and that is our vocal probs..
**2006**
So in year 2006,we decided to join a college band competition(OPERATION ROCKSTAR) which we didnt even manage to qualify for the finals.So after that particular day,we make up our mind and decided to find a vocalist.So a few weeks later one of our friend decided to try out.But he didnt last long,because after a few weeks,he just faded away but we were not surprise because we can see from his actions.And so our journey continue.During that point of time,another friend of us was interested in our kinda of music n we didnt have any vocalist to cover up and so,we asked him,Aji,wheather he wanted to join the band n he say aniting.From that day onwards,aji had become our vocalist until now(till early 2008).And our journey continue with even more gigs coming our way.And thats when a few people started recognising us as Sounds Of Saviour.
**2007**A GREAT YEAR FOR US**
Then in year 2007,we join another college band competition(MUSIQUE WORKZ) but this time we qualify for the finals which already mean alot to us.And when the finals came,we perform like we had never perform before bringing one cover song and one original.The 2 songs are 'Holy Diver-killswitch engage cover' and our original 'For This Moment'.We had to play more mainstream music for the competition.And surprisingly we won 3RD PRIZE.Its was a great honour and a really great experience for us.We won a Swensens voucher n recording voucher at Greendoor studio which we hadnt use it yet.HEHEHE
**OUR CURRENT AIM**
So now,we are currently concentrating on our original songs and producing a nicely done recording. We also hope to know more experience guys or bands that had been in the scene for a long time,it would be a pleasure to work with those guys.So if any gig organiser or anybody need any bands to perform do contact us.We can play any genre from rock++ to metal/metalcore-deathcore++.It would be a great pleasure.And not forgetting,we would like to thank to those who had been with us all this while.We really appreciate it.And lastly,we hope that the songs on our profile would change the mindset of those people who think we are jus another new band or maybe a band that only wants fame and popularity.So enjoy!!
