DJ Yoka - Head of Synphonie Records and organizer of the "FrühlingsSynphonie-Festival" and some other events...

My projects in the past were live-acts like "Extrasinn" and "Synphonetic" and different labels and event organizers like "Trance fair project" (Tanz ins Licht with Sven Dohse, Bimmel, Tapesh and many more in 1997 - the first live-set of Haldolium (in this time called Sun science LCR and friend) ;-)) or "neoVidea" (we organize "Frühlingszauber" and "Winterzauber" 2000/2001)

I played for the label of DJ Joyrider from cologne-Mental-arts Records and the label Savva records of DJ PGM.

Active in the psy-scene since 1995 after a visit at the Voov Festival ..95, where I get addicted to psy-music and feeling...

In 2003 he founded "Synphonie Records" and started the "FrühlingsSynphonie Festival" in Kierspe to become one of the first events of the year with now traditional open-air area. After the forth FrühlingsSynphonie there was another parrty,but in very small and familiar setting and a break for 2008... But sometimes wonderful things will happen... Who know..s... ;-)My current projects are:

Sounds Like: Yokain - einfach Yoka in reinster Form....

Der Name entstand durch die Überlegung, daß man in einem DJ-Set fast nur Tracks von anderen Musikern spielt. Bei einem Live-Set hat man in der Regel jeden einzelnen Sound selber gesetzt, gespielt oder wie auch immer... Und schon war es naheliegend, als Dj unter Yoka - selbstverständlich dann als Live-Act: YOkAIn !!!
Natürlich haben einige mich auf die Ähnlichkeit auf eine gewisse Droge hingewiesen, wenn man statt Y ein K an den Anfang setzt.

Doch ich kann immer wieder darauf hinweisen: music is my drug!!

Und ausserdem sollen die nicht immer von sich auf andere schliessen...
Vom Sound her in einem ständigen Wandel, eigentlich eher progressiver-morning trance doch in letzter Zeiit gehen die Produktionen in eine kräftigere Richtung...
Wie auch im Leben ist hier die einzige Konstante - die Veränderung
