E MONEY

Ronald Reagan didn't defeat communism. It was people like me and songs like this!

About Me

Fueled by beef jerky, Red Bull and power naps, Erik Helgeson can get more done in a day than many producers do in a week. Versed in many facets of music and the entertainment industry Erik is adept both behind the board and behind the mic. The founder and general manager of KAUG radio in Minneapolis, he was already a radio-veteran at 19. A producer of CD’s, short films and radio shows he keeps projects organized from conception to completion. Erik will take time to get things done right and will put in planning to make sure projects don’t go wrong. Erik has worked with a wide variety of clients from solo artists to Fortune 500 companies.

My Interests

I like lots of things people, being outside, music, art, humor, thinking, reading, sleeping and macaroni and cheese with hot dogs

I'd like to meet:

A unicorn

Music:

The last four CD's I have listened to in my car have been: Bluegrass at Carnegie Hall, Harry Belefonte, History of pop music (Vol 1) and they Beach Boys greatest hits (Vol 3). That is all I have listened to in my car since June 13th 2006.I play music too...wanna be in a band?

Movies:

I don't watch as movies as you think I would, unless you don't think I would watch many movies, then I probably watch about as many as you think I would. It's not that I don't enjoy moves but I generally spend my time not watching movies. I like crass, humorous and/or poingnient movies, and inappropriate political dramas.

Television:

I don't watch TV I just look at it.

Books:

Curently I am reading A Short History of Everything, well I am not currently reading as I am typing on my myspace page. Really, I am not even figurtivly currently reading that book, but it is the last one I purchased.I also try to read the news paper (well on line anyway). But I don't like the newspaper, there are too many words, I want more pictures. If the headline reads "Crusie Ship Runs Ground In Alaska" I don't want 300 words describing what happend I want to see a picture of a crusie ship tipped over in the water, and a picture of people dangling off the smoke stack. Hell I don't even care if that happened, I want to be entertained not informed, that's why you read the newspaper, well why I do anyway.
