All-time favorite song: "Make A Joyful Noise/I Will Not be Silent," David Crowder style. I think the David Crowder Band is my absolute favorite! Other favorites: Leeland, Hillsong United, Shane&Shane, Charlie Hall, Caedmon's Call, Rita Springer, Matt Redman, Brandon Heath, and ... Air Supply. I also love the band "The Working Title," and it's not JUST because the lead singer/songwriter is my precious lil' cousin Joel. I like gospel music, classical music, just about ALL music from the 80s, and yodeling. Singing opera is fun, but I don't love listening to it. I am the only person in Ellensburg, WA who doesn't have a country station programmed into their car radio. I really, really, really like Barry Manilow and I don't care who knows it.
Love 'em! I'm not very picky. My favorite movie is Signs. Some other favorites are The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; School of Rock, Elf, Napoleon Dynamite, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I also love any and every romantic comedy ever made. (Except "When Harry Met Sally" ... ew.) I think period films are AWESOME and I really wish I lived in England sometimes.
My favorite shows are The Office, American Idol, Lost, 24, Amazing Race, What Not to Wear, Prison Break, and So You Think You Can Dance. I've been known to watch Emergency Vets and Animal Precint, and those shows sometimes make me cry. We have a DVR, so I haven't watched a commercial in months. I just watch these shows at my convenience. It's so 2010.
The Bible is my favorite book! Nothing else comes close. Some of my other favorites are: Searching for God Knows What, Captivating, Blue Like Jazz, Is That Really You God?, Victory Over Darkness, The Calvary Road, Mere Christianity, The Bondage Breaker, Surprised By the Voice of God, Breakthrough Prayer, Fresh Wind Fresh Fire, Listening Prayer, and anything by Pastor Mike Riches. A couple of my all-time favorites are This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness. My motto for reading is "Don't get me started; don't even get me started," cuz I won't stop!
