Well first off I hate doing these things but I'll try my best.My name is Robert and I live outside the twin cities. I attend college here and my major is Pastoral Ministry. After I finish that I'll potentially head to Bethel Seminary.As of Jan. 3rd I'll be married to the love of my life and couldn't be more excited about the direction my life has taken.Besides School and Work I don't have time for much else right now but life is good! I have to remind myself of that often lately but to be honest I've never been happier!Not sure what other random things to say?I highly dislike when people use terms such as "gay" in joke form or using it as a way to describe something stupid. To my knowledge that word has only ever meant "happy" or "a member of the homosexual community". This isn't about a personal view of lifestyle choices but it is based on the idea of not being hateful. This also goes for any other terminology about groups of people or derogatory used for punch lines.Living a life of love is very important to me. Even though it's on my highest priorities it's also one of my biggest struggles. As a Christian I believe two things are core to everything we do. First is to Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Secondly I believe that we must love our neighbor as we ourselves. This may sound very broad but I believe all we do must reflect this. I do have set beliefs and views on many issues but as a dear friend of mine once said: "The Bible may preach certain things are right or wrong but there isn't a word in there that says to preach hate towards anyone!"My hope is that when we come together as a people that we can discuss instead of lash out. That we can show love instead of hate.
