Born in 1985, Dj Lost started his days as a young 5 year old beginning piano lessons. Seven years later, however, he found himself a classically trained and accomplished pianist. Despite the strict confines of classical music, he always found himself much more interested and comfortable when playing jazz, ragtime, boogie and funk.
After a lapse of several years away from the piano, DJ Lost found himself producing music by the age of 14. For several years, he stuck strictly to composing and producing house and trance music for the clubs. However, he always found himself composing hip hop beats on a fairly regular basis.
More recently, hip hop and rap has become his primary focus. Incorporating his routes of jazz piano and broad familiararity with electronic music and composition, Dj Lost offers a fresh new option to artists looking to purchase ownership and rights to beats for themselves.
