Born from the blood, sweat and tears of the late Willem Dafoe, Paris Green forgot about the rules of making it in Salt Lake City and gave birth to a sound that is all there own. Riddled with big riffs, hard hits and solid melodies, this band of strapping young gentlemen released a sonic wave of emotion, bending into shape what became there first release, an e.p. entitled Freedom/Structure. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Andy Patterson (Form of Rocket, New Transit Direction, Hudson River School), this e.p. had alot to offer whoever picked it up and had a listen. Sharing the stage with indie greats like, Planes mistaken for Stars, Bear vs. Shark and Criteria, these guys made it apparent that they weren't leaving anytime soon. But despite the exit of long time friend and musician Ryan Groskreutz, the three left standing pushed forward, and showed the city they just want some attention, playing a string of acoustic shows, exploiting there versatility and talent in this institution. With new resolve and a new bassist, Tyler, Eric, Taylor and now Justin, are ready to embrace failure, success or whatever is thrown at them, and continue on the journey that is Paris Green.
