Vertigo is a unique project which champions innovation and diversity in form and culture for independent film and the moving image. Through its magazine, website and special events, Vertigo engages audiences, educators, students and practitioners, introducing new work and critical debate.Vertigo is the Uk's leading independent film magazine, dedicated to promoting independence, innovation and diversity in moving image culture. Founded in 1993 and initially supported by Channel 4, it now appears quarterly in print and online with monthly web issues and is sponsored by the Arts Council of England and the UK Film Council.From the start, it has combined fighting its corner in key debates about the future of British and world media with cutting-edge features on unique, exciting and challenging films from all over the world.
