Benny lee staples-drummer, performer, producer, dj, teacher currently based in Auckland New Zealand and also working on The Woodentops 2006 re-formation in UK, recent gigs in London and Paris plus a BBC6 radio live session. I have been envolved with music since i was 18 years old- Newmatics nz 'riot squad' cd- compilation of singles, demos, and live recordings 1980-82. The Woodentops uk -many releases internationally,lots of shows etc 1985-92,co wrote baleric classic WHY WHY WHY , Lava Lava uk/nz 12's + 'Burnt' cd nz,on honeydipped records london 1992-98, music for 1990 comonwealth games ak nz, Exbo 1992 Sevile Spain, various tv/film/fashion show/theatre music. The crackhead expeirence with Mu -decks and echo box and Dallas-vocals [ pre fat fredys drop] a total live mash up1998-99 . T-son 'combat sol' cd plus dj ing radio and club etc. I'm currently starting a drum skool up called 'Rthymn Works' in ak/nz and are lookin to teach kids roughly 8-16 year olds. music is my passion and i want to pass my on knowledge. AM CURRENTLY LEARNING/PLAYING ACCOUSTIC GIUTAR and writng nu tunes in a NEO FOLK DUB STEP stylee....
