Toothless Records

About Me

The Introduction:
Toothless Records was formed when some record shop colleagues decided it was time to bring quality and enjoyment to the record racks of their stores.
The label has a strict music policy which is: "There is no music policy! - Toothless records do not subscribe to a genre, style or fashion!" The proof is in the pudding. So far, the label has released Hip Hop, Funk, Electro, Broken Beat, Drum 'n' Bass and Downtempo tracks. In the pipeline are more genres too.....
The Artists:
The Unknown Stuntman "A master manipulator of his record collection." This mysterious individual cuts and chops through obscure and famous gems to concoct a sonic stew all of it's own flavour. He has found favour with Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music), Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1) and has attracted interest from overseas labels.
Pharoah Roche "The eclectic maestros." These boys switch genres just as much as Rafa Benitez changes his starting eleven. Their diversity has reached John Peel (BBC Radio 1), Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1), Justin Wilkes (Kiss 100FM), Seiji (Bugz In The Attic), DJ Hell (International Deejay Gigolos) and Erol Alkan (Trash) amongst others. They have also released material on Jazzanova's Sonar Kollektiv label in Berlin.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Toothless records is currently the home of The Unknown Stuntman and Pharoah Roche. More artists may be joining in future....
Influences: A wide appreciation of music is the basis of the label. The influences are wide and varied. We could drop famous names here, we could mention classics, we could state obscure gems - but we wont. We just enjoy a selection of music - those tastes change and evolve constantly.
Sounds Like: Toothless Records is comparably uncomparable. The sound cannot be pigeon-holed - no two releases are the same and multiple styles of music feature.
Record Label: Toothless
Type of Label: Indie
