Hi. I am Derek. I am 24 years old and have one son, Kobain.
I am married to a great woman, Rhonda. She is my other half. We actually thought about getting the "two halves" from Hedwig and the Angry Inch tatooed on us so that when we stood together or hugged the two halves would be whole again. Yeah a little cheesy romance never hurt anyone.
Okay enough with the romantics. I was the Station Manager at KSSU the campus radio station of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, during my tenure in that school. I hosted the morning show all week starting at 8:00 a.m., and that was called the Big Dumb Fun Show. I also wrote the Unpopular Commentary of the week for online forums on the topic of Pro Wrestling. Care to read one? go here TNA FORUMS and click on TNA forum community columns. I am trying to start a wreslting radio site where the Unpopular Commentary will be heard through audio clips but It is just barely started because I have been so busy with my new job that it has not been attended to as it should, adn for that I apologize. As for my new job I work at Radio Shack so yes my life has become a Mitch Hedberg joke. I was almost there.
I am a fan of Pro Wrestling, not Sports Entertainment, I don't mean to go on a rant here, but I can't tell you how many times I tell someone I like Pro Wrestling and they bring up WWE, or TNA. WWE is not nor has it ever been pro wrestling. TNA was Pro Wrsetling in the beginning but has since gone the way of WCW before them, and abandoned the art for the evils of Sports Entertainment. This distinction is not something I take lightly the only company in the U.S. that I will call Pro Wrestling is Ring Of Honor. While this company has lost many of its stars to the aforementioned promotions they still offer a better product than WWE, or TNA. ROH and the wrestlers who earn their spots on that coveted roster have a complete respect for the business.
Well That's my speech so I hope this has let you know just a little more about your favourite once upon a time Morning Show DJ, and your current Somewhat likeable Radio Shack Sales Associate.
Just more Wrestling Curios:
To watch the oldest surviving film of the Earl Caddock v Joe Stecher Worlds Championship match circa 1920
PROOF: Vince McMahon and the WWE stole an early A.J. Styles gimmick for John Cena. A.J. is on the left at an early 2000 NWA Wildside Event.
