About Me
Basil has been interested in music since he was 6 years old, taking piano lessons at the local musicschool. He first wanted to take drum lessons, but then decided to give up the musicschool and start to do own creations on his iMac, using Reason and Logic to create first grooves and patterns. One of his first inspirations was the set of DJ Gangsta and Adam Beyer. With age 15 he bought two turntables and some equipment, trying to mix old Techno and Acid vinyls. Two years later, he organized a Techno floor at the local gym-festival together with Snakey Jack and Smn, which was his first time playing in public. He has played at places like Embargo (ZH), 2UG (TG), GZ Wollishofen (ZH), Tantra Bar Ibiza, Dani. H Bar (ZH), Etzel Lounge (ZH), Stadtkeller (SG), Elektrokeller (SG), Music Factory (SG), Tresor Club (ZH), Besame Mucho (ZH), Magazin (SH)... For Projekt Fleisch www.nuckleduster.com he produced the menu track of the DVD package.
