There is no band. I am on my own and I like it this way, unless i want to work with you on a remix or something similar. I am a solo artist with production and arranging skills to top off my songwriting capabilities.
I have been signed before with a band called The Stanleys but that was thirteen years ago and not applicable anymore. But, experience was gained and it was alot of fun with the radio airplay, gigs, a brief mention in the N M E, record sales in woolworths, virgin, hmv, and our price country wide. I enjoyed it happening as did most of Europe!
I have been songwriting now for fourteen years and i have lots and lots of songs people have never ever heard of. Those who have seen me play have always enjoyed my songs.
Big Mistake was written five years ago and i only recorded it last summer as well as producing and mixing it.it is about my personal struggles with things in general.but nothing ventured nothing gained.
A World Within Its Own was written in January 2005 and was recorded the summer of 2006. I think it is my best work to date and i am really pleased with the production.alot of people want it released so they can buy it so many have asked me.any distributers out there?
Until Now is a newer song written in 2004 and recorded this spring on my new pc. It is a fav of the fans that remember the catchy bit. It is the shortest song but still a good one. I like the way it finishes at the point it could start again. It was easy to manipulate into a song.
When i wrote 15 Minutes in Dec 1992 it was too slow too long and needed to be combined somehow. Then in 1998 i reworked the whole song and added the synth guitar intro and played it faster and cut out about a min and a half off the song. It still sounds good even now. Also you can sing "come on now baby lets do it like mammals and do it like they do on the discovery channel" over the chorus bit but i didnt mind the similarity as i wrote the melody way before that song.
