From 1985 to 1991 i served my SOUND SYSTEM aprenticeship. Box buoy,Sound technician,Operator,Selector,Singer,Dj-mc, "The full works".
The sound system was called 'INVADERZ' we were a mixture of mancherster an birminham manz, who were based in south london peckham n deptford.
With 'INVADERZ' i can honestly say we never lost a clash. Our sound was a Rasta sound no slackness!! We toured places like Bristol,Birmingham,Bedford,Luton,Liverpool,Manchester,Nottin
gham,The whole ah London.1993-1995 i attended Southwark Music College.
Whilst on the course i was picked to perform across 'Europe' Calais,Bologne,
Montpellier,Paris,Berlin,Den haag. In London through the college i supported,
Maxi Jazz,Brand New Heavies,Omar,Gabriel,China black,Peter Huningale,The Roots,Ed an the Bull Dogs,an a whole heap of European Artist an bands.1995 i met Junior Lawless, an Baron Demus in Hastings Who were part of a group called "First Down"n"Genuine Artical" Uk Hip Hop acts.I played with a couple of local groups percussion, an drums, then later I started Mcin to Jungle/Drum n Bass/Breaks.1997 met up with old college friend bass player,'Dan Pepe' who introduced me to Legendary'Jon Carter'" Monkey Mafia". 1997-2000 I performed and recorded and wrote songs with the group "monkey mafia". This is kind of blury, not being high! blury! but blury because of the amount of shows, tours, interviews and media attention,photo shoots, we experience in such a short time "mental"! A few of the Groups we supported were Fatboy Slim,Propeller Heads,Bentley Riddim Ace,Fundermental,Asian Dub Foundation, Les Riddim Digial,Lo Fidelity hi Fi,
Roni Size an Represent,Massive Attack, Secrecy, no disrespect to those i havent mentioned...."you no ow it goes long ting". 2000-2006 i linked back up with old dj scratch king "Krash Slaughta" an a wickid, engineer called "Azi" .Bamm! that was the birth of the group called "FILIBUSTERZ" later members were Junior Lawless,Baron Demus,Pokesta,Lazenby,Annetta Recording an writing songs.We performed many shows across the UK,also resident at legend club FABRIC.From 2003-2006 "Platinum Bashment" sound system, was formed, a Hard core jungling sound.Which Gained the respect of No1 sound sytem on the south coast of england.In 2008 - till now i am proud to announce the launch of "INVADERZ" listen out for us, bcoz we ur dangerous!!!!!!!!Jah Bless You All.........Douge Reuben
