New England Patriots The only cheat, Spygate Game was Week 1, and they still went 15-0 after that crushing all kinds of records. The 2007-08 Patriots are the best team in the History of American Football, even though they lost the Super Bowl to the New York Giants. It was a great game: 2nd most televised event in TV History, after the Mash Finale.

"Bob Dylan On My Rooftop" (poem by Jon Lyndon),
"Lounge Lizards"
herherherherherHer sunburn bird brandishes outside the frame
as steaming wind winds between my eyes.
Downstairs her perfume turns orange and turns black.
She is invisible inside my own country. So many half-buried rats crumble under the floorboards
melting like a Daliesque sludge of gore from where they bled.
The door shivers. Those scabs crawl & chew beneath the bed.
I am an invisible worm inside my own head. She murders angels, pierces knives thru their wings,
drinks whiskey like poetry on the doorstep of the
Hotel Hole
where I sleep in verse as the ashes fall.
We are in vision enemies where our lovers breathe. On the streets, cars burn in the rusted sun.
She walks an indigo lounge lizard in the form of light
torn & surrounded by cutout puppets incandescent in flight.
They are inconspicuous against the vicious sight. Her green hair curls slowly over me as I come
back from the breathing night. Stolen dreams, the jazz in blue;
we both dance in the sink. She kills me before I’m about to die.
I am entranced in my other world.Goddess of mystery, your fire, this hell,
this hallway where asylums lay still.
So ill, all your animals and your misled zombies,
Those invisible lounge lizardsin exile of your own orisons.
The last place I ever saw you, the barmaid
fed me absinth through a broken straw
and you were wearing those Prada wings you stole
from the Backward’s Museum in Prague. But I remember nothing...

The dystopic ANTHEM ~"the genus of Ayn Rand."
[Huge influence on early works of RUSH, including: Anthem, 2112 and Freewill].
"There are those who think that life
Has nothing left to chance
With a host of holy horrors
To direct our aimless dance..."
~Neil Peart (Rush).
Excerpt from Ayn Rand's Anthem:
"It is a sin to write this. It is a sin to think words no others think and to put them down upon a paper no others are to see. It is base and evil. It is as if we were speaking alone to no ears but our own. And we know well that there is no transgression blacker than to do or think alone. We have broken the laws. The laws say that men may not write unless the Council of Vocations bid them so. May we be forgiven!
But this is not the only sin upon us.
It is dark here.
The walls are cracked and water runs upon them in thin threads without sound, black and glistening as blood.
Our name is Equality 7-2521..."

"spook country" The long awaited New Novel from the master of the cyberpunk genre, due: August, 2007!
~Another Country by James Baldwin
Excerpt from opening line:
"He was facing Seventh Avenue, at Times Square. It was past midnight and he had been sitting in the movies, in the top row of the balcony, since two o'clock in the afternoon. Twice he had been awakened by the violent accents of the Italian film, once the usher had awakened him, and twice he had been awakened by caterpillar fingers between his thighs. He was so tired, he had fallen so low, that he scarcely had the energy to be angry; nothing of his belonged to him anymore - you took the best, so why not take the rest? - but he had growled in his sleep and bared the white teeth in his dark face and crossed his legs. Then the balcony was nearly empty, the Italian film was approaching a climax; he stumbled down the endless stairs into the street. He was hungry, his mouth felt filthy. He realised too late, as he passed through the doors, that he wanted to urinate. And he was broke. And he had nowhere to go."
This is the Bohemian underworld of the 1950s, the times of Miles Davis & Coltrane, Lenny Bruce, Keroauc & Ginsberg. A compelling story about Rufus Scott, a scavenging Harlem jazz musician adrift and lost in New York City.
