The real blurb

Okay, what to put here that you can't find out from the interests box...

Err, well, starting from the beginning.. I'm half Hungarian and half Chinese (Singaporean). Born, raised and live in Auckland, New Zealand. For the geographically challenged, we're near Antarctica. And Australia, though that isn't something you admit lightly. Interestingly, we're also reasonably close to the supposed location of the sunken city of R'lyeh.

Spent most of my life so far in the education system, and I've just about had enough of it already. Primary school for 6 years, secondary for 6 years, tertiary for 4 years (and counting...). ARGH, I'M SICK OF LEARNING BORING THEORY.
Speaking of which, I'm practical-task oriented (as if you care, heh. Bear with me, I'm building up to the 'interesting' part), and in terms of VAK, learn best kinaesthetically and worst aurally. As a result, I usually have one or more projects on the go. At the moment, projects consist of: development of an internet client to be used for playing Shadowrun .. (largely text-based, and an ongoing project, been going for about a year now on and off); design and implementation of a website to showcase Shadowrun stories created by a friend and I; make some bowstrings and some wooden arrows for my bow!. And I'm sure you see a trend in the projects - all I have to say is: Shadowrun is all you need to live a happy, well balanced and fulfilling life. Plus maybe food and water every now and then to keep the meat alive.

Always been interested in computer games, typically anything excepting sports games that come in yearly revisions (Yes, EA's Rugby and NFL, I'm looking in your directions). Other than that, I've played an eclectic variety of genres as well as a bunch of ungenre-able games as well. Music tastes vary similarly, anything from rock, rap, house, dance, reggae... as long as it sounds good and isn't country music, it has a fairly good chance. And well, sport is sort of similar, though I don't have as long a list to comment on for that. Did Taekwondo for all of two years before giving it up for university. Then recently took up archery. So I guess that's kind of varied...

By the way, if you've read all the text above this line, congrats, I'm sure you're one of only a few who bothered :P
