Paolo Conte, born in Rome, 5 May 1988
He started playing the drums when he was thirteen, after the listening of the Dream Theater's album: Scenes From A Memory. So he began take drum lesson from a teacher and soon he formed his first band with the school friends wich was influenced by the 70's rock music, like Black Sabbath, and by the metal bands like Metallca and System of A Down. After one year he leaved this band for joining in the Ablaze project. At the beginning the Ablaze band was principally influenced by bands like Deep Purple, Queen, Judas Priest and others.. after the Paolo's joining in the band he tried to put his Prog Metal influences in this project. After three years, two demos and a lot of live gigs, also supporting the Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso (a famous 70's..80's italian prog rock band), the band splitted up. The following bands wich he played with were completely different one from the others, from the rock cover band named Dirty Mac (Paolo currentlly plays with those guys :) ), to a Toto cover band, to the Gothic Metal band named Trial Of Fears. Today Paolo still practicing drums and playing to town in town in Italy, with Glass Shadows( his new Dream Theater tribute band! n.d.a.) and Dirty Mac.see ya soon! ;)
