Krazy Records

Every year for the past four five years there's been a new reggae, soca or even calypso artist. The past few years artist such as Sean Paul, Shaggy, Kevin little, Elephant man and T.O.K have all come through the industry and left the game in a frenzy. The year 2007-2008 will bring another prolific act straight out the hood. The mere combination alone sounds ferocious but the music is what will really state their claim. I got an exclusive listen to this group and they most definitely have something worth listening to. Two men, two different styles, two different islands, one Big Island Buzz. R.H.P (Robert Tonge) is from St.Croix the U.S Virgin Islands and Q.Gyalist (Quasim Walker) St.Ktts. They are bringing you the buzz on what's new from the islands, themselves. "Many people from different culture would love to reach out to reggae music but it is hard sometimes to understand what the artist is saying, so what we did is combine the reggae with hip-hop we call this style REGGAE HIPPY."said Q.Gyalist. "Late 2004 our "CAMP" decided to open our own label called Krazy Records." When asked how they came up with the name Krazy Records for their label, R.H.P replied with a laugh "we had a krazy past, did krazy things and we jus krazy dudes." Krazy Records is doing big things, currently pushing their mix tapes and working on a few underground projects. This the type of movement anyone would love to be apart of.
