About Me

iamError has been through heaven and hell. In writing the follow-up to their groundbreaking debut, “On the Clock / Pay Your Scratch”, the band went through a number of ordeals that would have decimated lesser men. Vocalist Mike Wiggins lost his left hand and right pinky toe in a freak jackhammer accident last March. Less than 6 weeks later, band co-founder Jay Thompson was forced to miss the band’s North American tour with tightness in his shoulder. “It was a-right tiiight”, noted Thompson between puffs of his corn-cob pipe. The process not only brought the group closer together, but helped them rekindle their spiritual fires. “This album is for the Lord”, declared drummer Peter Wallace when we tracked him down on-set recording Squirrel peanut butter’s new jingle, “Bust a Nut in your Sandwich”.
“We’ve been through such an emotional roller-coaster…kicked off tours, we lost our white belts..delays on our BC Rich Warlocks and Truth drums….it’s been a real lousy year,” sighed a clearly irritated Thompson. “We brought out a lot of bands the past year….The End, Despised Icon, Job for a Cowboy, Cancer Bats…hell, we even let Bucket Truck play with us for their last show…I mean, we try and help these guys along, but then you wake up and can’t find your belt and you’re supposed to carry on like nothing’s wrong….Well we put all of that frusteration into this new album and I think the results speak for themself.”
Of course, there are no results to speak of at the moment, as the band have not even written the album, but it is said they will be distributing a limited edition LP of the material at upcoming shows. “It’s time to give back to the fans, man.”
