My life was changed that August 5th, a day that I will never forget. I had just awoken from a nap and I decided to go for a walk. As I walked through the city streets I found myself looking for something more than the concrete fields and skyscraper trees. Suddenly, as I rounded the corner off of 8th and Benjamin, I saw a dirt road. I had never seen this road before, so I let my curiousity lead me down this road. Soon I found myself away from the city and at the end of the road...right in the middle of a field of daisies. I looked back and saw the city towering over this field yet where the road started the city ended and this daisy field began. It seemed so surreal. As I looked further down into the field, I saw a figure, a beautiful woman. It was my wife. And she was running through the field calling my name. I didn't hesitate, I took off leaping and running through the field towards my wife, my heart filled with love, joy filling every fiber of my being. We grew closer and closer and I could see her beautiful brown eyes...It was a perfect moment. I must have been too caught up in the moment and looking at my wife, because I didn't even notice the cougar until he was in mid-pounce, and his teeth were quickly around my neck...OK, so that never happened but man, it was fun to read.
