Vintage anything, LAUGHING for no apparent reason, scavenging around the ukay ukay, island hopping, spacing out, breaking personal records, driving around, disappearing in book and music stores, art, doodling, random picture-taking, daydreaming, writing, conquering the world, being onstage, forgetting, artists, cartoons, getting lost, baking oatmeal cookies, sweating out my anger at the gym, music, silence and not speaking, smiling at new friends, crash crashans, being scared and doing it anyway, hearing other people call my kuya Kuya Mark too, saving the seas, letting go.

makes me lose control.
Dancer in the Dark, Napoleon Dynamite, Sin City, Trainspotting, The Virgin Suicides...Mostly I like movies with sad endings, sarcastic humor, black comedies with bittersweet jokes and depressing outcomes. But I'm a really happy person. I just don't like being taken for a ride and wasting 2 hours of my life on something I've already seen and heard before.I'm one of only a few friends who enjoyed Party Monster, Requiem for a Dream, Death to Smoochy and Welcome to the Dollhouse.Oh and those 80s movies I grew up with. The Goonies, Some Kind of Wonderful, D.A.R.Y.L., Labyrinth, The Princess Bride... They just don't make movies like that anymore.
Food Network junkie.
The Da Vinci Code. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Okay, seriously - C.S. Lewis rocks my socks. So do Shel Silverstein and Dr. Seuss. I've been collecting children's books for almost 10 years now so I can pass the books on to my kids. I also love the Griffin and Sabine series. I'm a huge word nerd so a book is always a good present to give me. John Eldredge's books changed my life too, and John Maxwell will always have my affection.
Nelson Mandela. Martin Luther King. Gabriela Silang. Eleanor Roosevelt. Rosa Parks. My mom and dad. Paul the Apostle. All the unnamed and unknown who allow me to live my life as I live it today.
