En este sentido, cumple con el propósito de fomentar el intercambio cultural e ideológico en diversas áreas de acción que requieran una plataforma integral de servicios para su ejecución y genere un impacto efectivo a través del lenguaje universal de la estética.

Aknanda Productions would like to announce an upcoming music seminar by an internationally known and respected artist, Duncan Lorien. The seminar is coming the next year to Chicago, IL, in February 19, 20 & 21 of 2010. Additional information can be found at this links below.

The experience that I got from this seminar is simply extraordinary.

It is not usual that, in a one weekend seminar, I could see my personal barriers in such a complex subject and overcome them to learn about that subject.

Hearing about Mr. Lorien’s personal experiences with Phil Collins, Paul McCartney , Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck and being invited to the Bob Marley Mansion in Jamaica and among others was truly awe inspiring. I was one of thousands of students & celebrities around the world that Mr. Lorien has taught. In particular, music and the reading of music can be comprehended via his method. At the end of the weekend, music is accessible to anyone in society.

The work that Mr. Lorien has done, and the effect that this generates in education as well as society, is invaluable. This could be compared in magnitude to the renowned Venezuelan program of education, “El Sistema/ The System” (which will be implemented in the US by the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Music Director, Gustavo Dudamel). In my opinion, the investigation that Mr. Lorien has done into the history and education of music is far better than any existing program, and should be officially implemented in every educational system in the world.

The information on the comprehension of music had an amazing effect on me, and broke down my personal barriers regarding music. I truly wish that everyone could have the ability to learn Mr. Lorien’s method.

This method could definitely produce a significant change in the arts, the humanities and specifically music education, simply by learning the methods taught in the seminar.

La experiencia que obtuve en el seminario es simplemente extraordinaria

Es poco usual pensar que en un seminario de un fin de semana, podría encontrar todas mis barreras personales en tan complejo y especulado tema y pasar a través de esto logrando completamente la comprensión y aprendizaje de la música en general.

En este seminario, pasando a través de anécdotas personales del Sr. Lorien con Phil Collins, Paul McCartney , Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck y ser invitado a la mansión de Bob Marley en Jamaica entre otros. Fui un testigo más sobre los miles de estudiantes y celebridades alrededor del mundo que el Sr. Duncan ha enseñado, en particular que la música y la lectura si se puede comprender con su método Al transcurrir el domingo, la música es accesible para todas las personas en la sociedad.

Es invaluable el trabajo del Sr. Lorien y el efecto que esto genera en la educación y la sociedad, quizás esto podría compararse con el renombrado programa de educación musical de Venezuela “El Sistema” que será implementado en todos los Estados Unidos por el Director Musical de la Orquesta Filarmónica de la ciudad de Los Angeles, Gustavo Dudamel) , en mi opinión la investigación sobre la historia y educación del la música por el Sr Lorien abarca más allá de cualquier programa de educación estándar y debería ser implementado de manera oficial en todos los sistemas educativos del mundo.

Este método definitivamente puede crear un cambio significativo en el arte y las humanidades y específicamente en la educación musical, simplemente aprendiendo el método enseñado en el seminario.
