I am the mother of 4, grandmother of 2. I have been saved a long time, more than 2 decades, and recently I was licensed to preach the gospel by operating in the office of Evangelist. Though I knew I had a call on my life years ago, I allowed man to tell me that God didn't call me, and it has taken 15 years to get where God wanted me in service to Him. Now, I got to add this. The song you're listening to is by a little sister (she's grown now) that I have known most of her life. She is my Bishop's sister-in-law and the girl can sang. Her name is Angela. Visit her music page and show her some love, she is on my friends list. I am humbled to serve the Lord by serving His people, reminding all that none of us are perfect and no one is not without sin, just forgiven. We all make mistakes, some knowingly and willingly, others blindly. I am no exception.
I have a statement that I make which may come off as a joke but I am serious when I make this statement: "I haven't been saved all of my life and I haven't been saved the whole time I've been saved." Simply put that means that though I was saved, baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost over 20 years ago, there has been a period of time during my salvation that I strayed away from God that lasted about 3 years. I went through the motions. I went to church, knew how to shout, dance, pray, speak in other tongues, and even talk the talk, but I wasn't living the life. I am happy to say that not only am I talking the talk now but I am truly living the life, one of spiritual abundance, knowing that God will manifest His abundance in my life in the natural. Seeking the kingdom of God first will cause God to add all things unto you.
