Bassment Studio is a Bulgarian independent music workshop based in Sofia. There is no doubt that the Bassment is "deep under the ground" where the true, anti-establishment Hip-Hop comes straight from the heart. Trying hard to get his message across in an attempt to incorporate the whole of his being into sound, the founder Yaneto is deeply involved in the art process. Born in the summer of 1989 in the city of Sofia he has devoted his life to Music since 2006 (his album Trumpets From the Street was released one year later). Shaping his style through the years, he has came up with an untypical mix between Rap music, Jazz and some kind of Chill-out. With no frills, the style itself is too abstract to be described and the only thing you can do, if you really want to catch the vibe and feel the spirit, is just to listen with your heart and soul.
