Bio:
Aye there, my name is SharraLou Arriola. I'm an 18 year old Filipina, born in the Philippines raised in Oxnard, CA. I'm an alumni Channel Islands High School. I make music for fun. I play the guitar, some piano, violin, clarinet, bongos but I mostly play my guitar. Singing is not really my thing . =P
Musical background:
I first started playing clarinet and violin when I was 9 years old. I also knew how to play simple piano songs. When I was 14 years of age, I began to play the guitar and pursued learning to play. Another instrumental I can kind of play, is bongos.
My Objective:
Be heard, I don't really care about being seen. haha As long as people enjoy my music I'm content. I don't think music is gonna be my career because I plan on majoring in business. lol
Influences: Alot of things.
As for music producers, I really look up to Uyama Hiroto, Nujabes, Nomak, Sabzi (of Blue Scholars & Common Market), Eternal Morning, Chad Hugo, Pharrell Williams, Tsuneori, Stargate, Chistopher "Tricky" Stewart, The Stereotypes, J Dilla, etc.
I'm also a fan of : Mr.J.Medeiros, Colin Munroe,Lauryn Hill, The Four Tops, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Bic Runga, Why?, Passion, India Arie, Common, Atmosphere, Innervoices, A Tribe Called Quest, Bobby Caldwell, etc.
