Selina di Girolamo’s mixed media paintings explore the numinous power of place. Striving to be intimate, emotionally present and transformative, each piece is inspired through a deep shamanic relationship with the animistic landscape. Currently engaged in painting and drawing the East Sussex countryside around Hastings, in which she lives, many works reflect the diversity of local beaches, woods and downland.
