About Me
Welcome to Coatesville, Pennsylvania. A small suburban city outside the Philadelphia area. The population is approximately 11,038. This is the hometown of the NBA Detriot Pistons' star, Richard "Rip" Hamilton. With basketball already on the map, there is another individual looking to open new doors for this city.
Born Lamar Brickus, aka Fev Eligante'. At the tender age of 14, Young Fev started writing and teaching himself how to count bars, and over time taught himself how to write songs. But basketball was what Fev had a passion for. In an attempt to balance the two, he touchedbase with Harvey "Bitsy" Legree through a close friend. Bitsy was the Chief Executive Officer of the local independent record label titled "Dramah Entertainment". The recording of Fev's first album, "Who You Know Like...", soon came after, due to the young MCs work ethic. 11 tracks later and over 1,000 units sold, this was the stepping stone to a promising career. The local buzz caught the attention of a couple of disk jockeys at Power 99FM in Philadelphia. Interviews and radio play followed with Fev eventually opening up for Lil' Bow Wow on one occasion.
With the momentum of his first project under his belt, it was time to start recording a follow up. During the process, Bitsy got incarcerated. In result of that, Fev ventured out on his own, completing two mixtapes, "Da Eligante' Way" which consisted of 30 tracks, and "What You Know About Bad Company", which was hosted by Dj Dre $Money$. Soon after, he went out looking for guidance from a group of local artists who were collectively known as "Dirty Game". The group consisted of 6 MCs and 3 producers. It didn't take long until Fev joined the movement.
With a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, his partner (M.F.), his team (Dirty Game), and many supporters backing him, he feels it's time to approach the majors. Currentyly finishing up with the ingredients on his mixtape entitled "Every A&R's Dream Volume I - Heartthrob Edition" which features currently and past hit singles from industry artists such as Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Beyonce', Bobby Valentino, Omarion, etc. with a touch of Eligante'...So be on the lookout for that...
