Wherever there is good music and good people, I'm sure to be comfortable. I have a French masters degree in history but my jobs have almost always been music-related. For a while I worked as a film-editor's assistant and also loved messing about with sound and sound-effects. In fact, had I not hated the commercial feature film industry so much, I would have gone on to try to become a sound editor - providing all films were like Apocalypse Now, Delicatessen or Solaris (new) for instance. Now, I'm perfectly happy with a music-related day job, devoting the rest of my time to music and dancing.
