About Me

Well, I was born and raised in Memphis, then moved to Knoxville for school. I graduated a few years ago with an English degree and haven't cooked up the courage (or possibly the will) to leave. Most of my friends are here, and it's a comfortable place to be (personally and musically), but there is something a little sad about the transient nature of this place. I'm not referring to the massive homeless population, though that's not exactly a plus. Knoxville is a way station for most, a place to party in for a few years and then move on. I've been here six years, and the great people I met when I first got here are all but gone. Okay, this is turning a little dark, so I'm going to continue in a blog and redo this later.

I'm trying to think of someone who would not only be, say, a famous person I admire, but who would also be good to sit and talk to. Hmm. Noone's coming to mind. Maybe I'll come back to this.
