PurpleHaze was founded by Macias (vocals & rhythm guitar) and Mikki S. (lead guitar). The band started rehearsing at the close of 2005, and in March 2006 did its first show, after undergoing few line-up changes. The line-up then was - Macias, Mikki, Justin (bass guitar) and Grzesiek K., and it hasn't changed since that show.
After playing together for about one year, the band decided to enter the studio to record their first demo stuff. In February 2007, in a studio called Brevis and with help of Michal Wozniak, we recorded three songs - Try to Survive, Brothers From Band and Big Proud Man. The demo hasn't been released still in any way because of the lack of money.
On 14th May we took second place in Artistic Festival of the Young in Krakow (FAM), and won an opportunity to enter a studio again, for free. We will see what we're gonna do there and when, till then come around to our shows in Krakow!
