JOHNATHAN HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE LA MUSIC AWARDS
Johnathan Gooch is a singer/songwrriter from Austin, Texas. His melodies blended with the talented instrumentaion of Jacob Riddle (acoustic guitar), Levi Hanusch (drums & djembe), Cole Patterson (electric guitar), and Josh Lowry (electric bass) create a musical experience reminescent to that of John Mayer, Rufus Wainwright, The Fray, and Ray Lamontange. However their distinctive style is more prone to engage the listener.
Johnathan Gooch comes from a long line of people who misspell their names. He has spent his entire life championing the cause of "alternate" spellings. The belief, "If they have to spell it, they won't forget it," has motivated and sustained Johnathan through years of frustration with telephone customer service. Johnathan was born at a very early age and has consistently grown older since then. He picked up the piano at the age of 7 (with only mild injuries), He enjoys wrecking vehicles and the young ladies hearts. On all occasions, Johnathan keeps it real, and is in most cases off both chain and hook. He believes in God because God believes in him.
