It was always my dream to work in a business that could really help people. I started my journey working at GNC in Chesapeake, VA. I got all of my basic knowledge of herbs, minerals, vitamins, and sports nutrition here. I read every book I could get my hands on (and still do) about natural healing and health. I switched companies to work for a more nutrition based business called Advanced Nutrition/Healthquest. They had 8 stores in the Hampton Roads area. I went from just an employee to running my own store after a year or so. This was a big revelation time for me. I knew that I wanted to have my own store. I wanted to run it the way I thought it should be run--honestly. In 2003, I came across an empty store and just knew that this was it. It was just the right size and location. Two months later we came into existence, "Living Tree Health Foods". We are located in North Pointe Shopping Center, Enterprise, next to Effie's Cantina!
