My World Visitor Map!
I'm coming on 40, into tattoos and tattooing, music, and loads of other stuff. I've just returned to South Africa after living in Brighton in the UK for the last 17 years, and finding it quite a strange and isolating experience. I'm hoping to set up my own tattoo studio here, and to get a band going again, but it's all going to take time.I tattoo exclusively by hand, using the hand-poke method familiar to 18th Century sailors and Victorian schoolboys. No machines have been used anywhere in any of my work. I am also interested in other forms of hand-tattooing, particularly archaeological examples like Oetzi and the Scythian mummies, and Polynesian and Japanese tattooing by hand. I also have an interest in historic and naval flash. Please also check out my page at www.inkednation.com/tatupier
