Leather and Beer

About Me

Take the Visceral Blues sounds of Muddy Waters and splice in the raw power of the early Stones and then add singable melodies and you're kinda getting there. Essentially a live band, their mix of original Rock and Blues material is played, in the words of a fan ,"from the heart with an edge" and with energy and enthusiasm.Add to this a classically trained singer and you have a Blues and Rock sound that offers something a little different.Their debut album the smell of Leather and Beer contains original songs steeped in Blues and Rock with. The band feels that the only way to keep Blues music alive is to allow it to evolve. That way it will remain where it is, at the epicentre of popular music. To this end, the new line up is mixing it up even more adding some real rock edge to their three piece set up. No gimmicks, just bass drums and guitar and, of course, authentic rock/ blues vocals. The band is in the studio recording their second album "we don't dance!" This should be available on itunes soon. the debut album is available on itunes now.Cool MySpace Layouts
