The Mourning Sons

the mourning sons are a four-piece indie rock/grunge band based in Melbourne. the mourning sons began working with producer Dean Dirt (Magic Dirt, The Red Sun Band, Violent Soho) in late 2008 and are now putting the finishing touches on their self-funded debut album 'pipedreams'. Engineered by Brent Punshon (The Nation Blue, Legends Of Motorsport) at Head Gap Studios in Melbourne, 'pipedreams' is an album with a large emphasis on live performances and spontaneity.

the mourning sons - 'pipedreams' is set to be independently released mid 2009. In the meantime the mourning sons will continue to perform their original brand of foot stomping rock n roll at various live venues in and around melbourne.
