Hi Everyone! I'm the lead singer of the band SheBangg. Check out our my space page at www.myspace.com/shebangg ... SheBangg was formed in early 2004, with various line up changes until it exists as it does today. Pulling together established local musicians, the band have a wide variety of playing and recording experience. SheBangg do mostly original songs, complimented by new versions of songs by artists such as Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin, The Cranberries and Skunk Anansie. The SheBangg sound ranges from bluesy acoustic numbers, emotional ballads through to loud, raunchy, melodic rock and power pop songs. Self-penned songs are in a similar style, with funk and even reggae influences. On occasion, SheBangg also play as "SheBangg Unplugged" with vocals, acoustic guitar, bass, and percussion. Our set can be adapted to suit any venue. SheBangg are gradually gaining a following outside of their local area, and plan to continue to bring their sound to new audience, but plan to continue to play as many local gigs as possible.
