My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Over the last year I got to meet and play with 3 of my favorite musicians : Willie Cantu drummer from Buck Owens and the Buckaroos, Bob Babbit, bass player from the Motown house band The Funk Brothers and Spooner Oldam keyboard player from both Stax and Muscle Shoals house bands.
Most of the people I'd really like to meet are dead, Henry Miller,Charles Bukowski,Charlie Parker,Duke Ellington,Bob Wills, Johnny Cash, with the exception of Keith Richards, who just kinda looks as if he's dead.
Most of the bands and artists I've played with over the years are nowadays usually called americana or rockabilly what ever that means. The Theives, Willie Heath Neal, The Camaros,Gabe Zander, Joshua Black Wilkins, John Eddie, Trent Summar and Brandon Giles to name a few.
Alot of really great guys played in these things with me, standouts are: Bob Babbit (Motown), Kenny Aaronson (Bob Dylan, Joan Jett), Willie Cantu (Buck Owens) and just about everyone in BR549 and Hank III's band at some time or other.
I am currently playing with Tim Bays, Brian Dunning and various other bands in OKC. Thanks for listening.
