I'm a professional pool player. I've been to four different countries to represent the U.S. in world championships: Taipei, Taiwan; Omagasoka, Japan; Alicante, Spain; Quebec, Canada. In Spain, I took 3rd place, winning a bronze medal for the U.S. I was only sixteen years old. In order to acquire that level of talent, I dropped out of school in the fifth grade -- NOT by choice. My dad pulled me out when I started making him money at the pool halls. At sixteen, I moved out (and although you couldn't tell it by the way I spell), re-enrolled and got my diploma. Good thing too or else I would have had to let the $14,000 in college scholarships given to me for winning five consecutive B.C.A. Jr. National Championships go to waste. I'm twenty-three now so it may seem like it's already going to waste, but I just don't want to stop playing pool to go to college when I'm not sure what I what to do.
