Decorum was formed during the summer of 2005. Drummer Lloyd Dyson, guitarist Filip Von Hauswolff and bassist Jakob Calvén were struggling to find a new singer as the former ones had not been what they were looking for. Lloyd suggested that his childhood friend Rasmus Wimby might be a fitting vocalist. Filip and Jakob were however sceptical of the idea because of Rasmus lack of experience with music. But they were desperate and willing to give it a try. After a rehearsal with Rasmus he proved to be exacly what they wanted and they decided to let him join. Now the band started working on thier own material.
The band was going through a phase of variation as they had a hard time sticking themselves to a single genre. But after a catasthropical studio recording they had a moment of clarity and decided that they were going to be the most ass-melting funk band that had ever come out of Scandanavia. All the songs were scrapped and Decorum was born.
