Thanks to The Secret, I learned we all have a story to tell. You are not alone. You should never forget where you came from. The past is what made you who you are today, but don't let it rule your present and make your future! Positive things happen to positive people. The only way I can breathe and sleep better at night is if I believe in myself, God and Jesus Christ. I realized that too late therefore with the life I have left, I must make up for it. It is time to surrender.
Born in Manhattan, NY on May 19th, 1984... I lived very close to the city. At the age of 4, I moved to the Bronx in the Grand Concourse area and lived there until I was 11. That automatically makes me a NY Yankees fan. I could hear the games all the time. On July 1st, 1995, I moved to Dundee, FL. I lived there for almost 7 years and it was hell. It wasn't until I moved to Orlando, FL in 2000 that my life changed for good. As years passed I realized Florida is not my home. The main objective after Full Sail is to find it.
While growing up in the Bronx, I attended a music elementary school and from there I learned how to sing and choreograph. As I got older, I learned how to play the keyboard. Video game music and Michael Jackson inspired me while growing up. Though one day I stopped believing... then lost myself. I let fear get in my way. I tried to pursue in other things, but only failed because it wasn't what I wanted. As my journey progressed, I gathered hints all around me to return, but once I saw Video Games Live and the film August Rush, I couldn't help but cry. Music has lived so powerfully in my heart for so long, it is soaring to be released. The beauty of music is that it's never too late to return, but it mustn't be taken advantage of.
When I was 18, I worked for a company called EB Games. They have now merged with GameStop. I had been discriminated and underestimated many times, but I enjoyed to prove them wrong. After 5 years, the same store manager said he still cannot find a woman employee such as myself with the traits that I have. There I found a young kid named Zack that introduced Full Sail to me. I had been avoiding that school for 6 years, but in the year 2007 after hitting rock bottom many times yet again, I woke up one morning and said, "I am going to Full Sail."
My entire family was born and raised in Cuba except for my nephew and I. My father was the most famous dj in Cuba during his time with crappy equipment because he was poor. Every time I visit Miami, people recognize I am his daughter because I look like him and his mother. In 1980, my family moved to the United States from Miami, to Pennsylvania, to New York searching for work. It was difficult because none of them knew English. My father had to sacrifice his love for music to work and protect his family. He passed away on March 11th, 2006 due to 9/11 trauma and work exhaustion. While my mother was giving birth to me, my father saw in a magazine a successful, beautiful model named Jennifer. That is how I got my name. He always said I would live in California and be something insanely great. Since then, I have always wanted to visit the west. I wonder what is in store for me there. He taught me everything I needed to know about his music era, hence why it is my favorite kind of music.
As my older brother was getting older he started to enhance musical talents. He knew how to dj, sing and play the drums, but chose a military life instead. I don't know why, he won't tell me. He states it was a mistake and he lives in regret. In the late 80s and early 90s, he introduced freestyle, new wave, dance, techno, and house to me, hence why is it my second favorite kind of music. For many years he told me to do something in music because he knew I had talents as well, I just chose not to use them. He is very happy I finally planned to go to school for it.
My middle brother was called The Prodigy or The Wizard. He was a video game genius. He is the one that introduced video games to me, hence why video game music is my third favorite kind of music. He said when I was a baby while he played games I would be happy, but as soon as he turned it off I would cry. As a kid, I would beg my brothers to record many tracks of Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana, and Chrono Trigger with basic equipment regardless of the bad quality. I would sleep peacefully listening to it.
I was introduced to OC ReMix (www.ocremix.org) in 2001 when I was 17 years old by my first love, which happens to be a musically inclined gamer. For 7 years and ongoing I have envied the artists. I literally own every single track on the site and have dreamed to join them.
My music inspirations are Nobuo Uematsu, www.ocremix.org, Michael Jackson, U2, Linkin Park, Enigma, Madonna, Tiesto, Moby, Rob Dougan, Seal, Sarah Brightman, Emilio Estefan, Jr., Timbaland, The Police, Journey, Sting, Jose Gonzalez, and Phil Collins.
Final Fantasy I taught me I cannot live without games.
Final Fantasy IV & VI taught me how to read.
Final Fantasy IV taught me who I really was.
Final Fantasy VI made me realize I want my life to be music.
Final Fantasy VII taught me always pray and hope no matter what happens. It also taught me north, south, west, east.
Final Fantasy VIII taught me the only way a man can truly change is if he knows what love is.
Final Fantasy IX taught me the value of friendship.
final Fantasy X taught me there is always a reason why we are here.
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core taught me what I really seek in a man.
Metroid Fusion taught me to be strong no matter what happens.
Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals taught me what love is really about.
Chrono Trigger taught me anything can happen, as long as you want it to.
Donkey Kong Country taught me you don't honestly need a strategy guide or help.. you are your own guide. (scored a 100% without even knowing it at the age of 10)
Street Fighter II taught me how much of a sore loser I am and that I hate to play 2 player. LOL

My favorite movies of all time are Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Silent Hill, though trust me I love a lot more....

I love the Japanese language, certain comic book/movie/video game/anime characters, computers, technology, gadgets, sports cars, motorcycles, '94 Mazda RX-7 VEILSIDE, skeleton keys, stars, the sun beaming on me when I NEED the determination, pure sand, traveling, being adventurous and one of a kind naturally, God, and Jesus Christ.

I'd like to meet:

My musical influences and the creators of many video games.

Music:

I cannot listen to music unless I can relate to it...Lyrics and sounds can always mean something.

In my very belief, video game music is the best type of music in the world.... Though, this is how it works to understand me the best. Through the music....

Books:

The first book I ever read was called "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret" by Judy Blume at the age of 10. Ever since then I have always searched for my religion just like confused Margaret. After 13 years, I have succeeded in finding not just my religion... but the Way of Life thanks to God leading me to Jordan Aguirre aka bLiNd.

The other fantastic books I just can't get enough of are the Bourne series by Robert Ludlum, The Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank, The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, anime mangas of Naruto and Black Cat, and ANYTHING about the video game epic series Silent Hill.

Finally I am reading the Holy Bible... and it is quite amazing. It's the best thing anyone could ever read! IT IS MANUAL ON HOW TO LIVE LIFE!@ You can only do my 3 L's (Live a Life of Love) if you read the Holy Bible and apply it to yourself each and everyday.

Heroes:

God, Jesus Christ, my parents, Walter Gonzalez, Jordan Aguirre aka bLiNd, my characters, the innocent people involved with 9/11 & the Holocaust, and last but not least - my music influences.
My Heroes that are fictional characters from video games:
Cloud Strife, Zack Fair, Locke Cole, Celes Chere, Edward "Edge" Geraldine, Hayato Kanzaki, Megaman X.

Frank Castle aka The Punisher, Johnny Storm aka Human Torch, Remy LeBeau aka Gambit, and Bruce Wayne aka Batman.
My Heroes that are fictional characters from movies:
