RIP Manang Mercy... We'll Miss You.

About Me

Anything could happen... that's all I gotta say about how things are so far. Don't look back, focus on the now, and endure the road ahead.

And party like there's no freakin tomorrow!

My Interests

Chillin with my friends and family, learning anything and everything, billiards, bowling, clubbin, havin the occassional drink... but most importantly, my two passions are jammin on my Yamaha FG-403S acoustic guitar (even though I suck at it) and playin video games on my PS2, PC, and XBox 360. (Yes, I am quite the nerd.)

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet my dad all over again... one fine day I know I will.

Music:

Mostly anything u can bob ya head to... especially Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, and Alternative. Stuff from the 80's is good too.

Movies:

I'm a big movie buff... if you mention it, I've probably seen it already. I'm really into horror (especially the Asian kind) and comedies... Harold and Kumar!

Television:

Since I've got no cable, the tv I watch right now comes in dvd box-sets. I hate leaving on a cliffhanger and waiting a week for new episodes, ala Alias, 24, Lost, Firefly, House MD, Grey's Anatomy, The Office, and Friends. Might as well watch a series like these straight until you wanna stop. The absence of commercials is also a definite plus.

Books:

I really enjoyed "When the Elephants Dance" by Tess Uriza. I've also read all of the Dan Brown books so far (Angels & Demons, Da Vinci Code, Deception Point, Digital Fortress). Michael Crichton's Jurrassic Park is also one of my favs. Anything with the whole Religion Vs. Science theme is interesting to me.

I confess... I also fell in with the bandwagon -- Harry Potter. It's actually good! Any children's story featuring murder, self-mutilation, witchcraft, deceit, treachery, and good old-fashion adventure is worth some time.

Heroes:

Anyone who can play Jordan by BucketHead or Six by All That Remains on Guitar Hero (hard difficulty and above) is my idol!

When the Elephants Dance

Just to get this out of the way....  When I say that my current mood is "touched," I don't mean that someone molested me or anything.  It just means I'm in the middle of a book that has...

Sin City

Anyone see Sin City yet? I think that's my favorite movie so far this year... It actually looked and felt like a comic book. The people who made this did a good job on this one. It's ultra violent...
