FILMMAKERS
R. Brillantes, in the SHAMANS OF SIQUIJOR independent film series, has been studying and documenting folk healers and sorcerers (metaphysical hitmen) on the rural island of Siquijor, Philippines since 2002. Project made possible by a Fulbright grant, Women In Film grant, Bruton fellowship, UT Center for Asian Am. Studies, volunteers, R. Brillantes, in-kind donors & private donors.
