Shaun Tomczak was born in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Music was always prevalent in his life but not until the age of 15 did it become a driving force. At this age Shaun began to study the guitar under the direction of local guitarist Bryan Connolly. Shaun further honed his craft playing guitar with various acts at local clubs and coffee houses before later growing into major festivals throughout the Midwest. In the fall of 2006 Shaun relocated to Los Angeles to further his career as a musician and attend the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. In the short time lived in LA, Shaun recorded on movie soundtracks and different artists demos and albums. He also played to crowds throughout the city with artists such as, Tiffany Madadian, Ruby James, and Stevie Scott. In Januray 2009, Shaun moved on to Nashville, in order to pursue new avenues for his career.
