..I used to say I would like to meet Fred Hammond, but as we know, God is a good God, and just recently my husband and I had the pleasure and honor to meet him, and take a picture with him at The Potter's House. We will always cherish that moment. We did not get to tell him that 7 years ago, God used Fred's Ministry indirectly to draw
our two shattered lives together. It may not seem like a big deal to anyone else, but it was a big deal to us. You see, ironically, my husband and I met 7 years ago at the Victory Temple Ministries in FTW, (Outcry in the Barrio), Pastor Gerald Salomon. Where my husband serves as the praise and worship leader, ministering to the homeless, the drug addict,the gang members, the prostitues, and the outcast of society. He also sings in Spanish. I cannot go into detail, but I was not looking for him and he was not looking for me. I was going through a bitter divorce and I said if I would ever get married again it would have to be someone with a spirit like David. One of the things that my husband and I had in common was that we love us some Fred Hammond. I would go there to praise the Lord and he would be playing his guitar and singing a lot of Fred's music with all his heart and spirit. The passion that he would sing to the Lord with was so astounding that when he was done, it would be quiet all over the building and the people would begin weeping and being delivered. I lent him a Fred Hammond's Video, and that is when we met. You would understand if you really listen to the words and lyrics that Fred Hammond's sings about, it is off the chart. And yes Fred, we do know that God has a treasure chest of music that can be tapped into if a spirit is willing. We Love You Fred Hammond.Watch and Pray - Christian Video
